FAQs
Do you accept insurance?
We do not contract with insurance companies at this time. My Physical Therapy is an out-of-network provider and collects payment at the time of service.
However, we can provide you with the necessary documentation to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.
Prior to your first visit - call your insurance company and ask:
What are your “out-of-network” benefits?
Do they require a doctor referral prior to reimbursement?
How do you submit a documentation (a “Superbill”) for reimbursement?
Do I need a referral?
According to State Law, Massachusetts allows patients total, unrestricted access to therapy from a physical therapist. A physician referral is not required for a PT to evaluate or treat a patient. It is best-practice to confirm with your individual insurance company that they do not require a referral prior to reimbursing you.
How do I book an appointment?
To start, Contact Us directly via this website, phone or email so we can answer any of your questions and set up a good time for an initial evaluation. Then you will be provided with a secure client portal (powered by Jane) to manage future appointments.
Can I use an FSA Card?
Yes. Add it to your Client Portal. We also accept Credit Card, Check, Venmo, and Zelle.
What should I expect on my First Visit?
Meaghan will bring everything needed. Including a treatment table and equipment.
Please have enough space for the table and some room to move around.
Plan for a 90-minutes session (follow-up appointments are 60 minutes).
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing to allow access to the treatment area.
What if I need to cancel?
We request at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a fee.

Will I receive a “Good Faith Estimate”?
Yes. Under the State Law, Massachusetts health care providers need to give patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
